Awards of Excellence Nomination

Download Nomination Form

For 85 years, the Community Resources Council (CRC) has served the Topeka and Shawnee County community as a whole through advocacy, collaboration and leadership.  CRC is a catalyst in promoting community coalition building.

In today’s economy, CRC believes coalition building is more important than ever.  When there is more to do with fewer resources, non-profits, businesses and government entities that join forces take resources further, enhance more programs and aid more people.

Community Resources Council is establishing an annual Awards of Excellence recognizing coalition.  This year’s Honorary Chair is Anita Wolgast and Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson has been asked to speak.  The CRC Awards of Excellence will be Monday, October 25, 2010, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Ramada Inn Hotel and Convention Center.  Tables of 10 are $300 and tickets are $30/piece.  Reservations may be made at our web site crcnet.org

Four awards will be presented: To an individual who has been instrumental in initiating and/or sustaining a coalition; a non-profit who furthers its mission through either building and/or sustaining a coalition; a government agency which has made the community stronger through a coalition; and, a business who is a leader in community coalition building.  The community will be the nominators, the selectors and the presenters.

As a Topeka/Shawnee Community member, CRC encourages you to nominate a person, non-profit, government and/or businesses for the prestigious award.  You may nominate more than one but each entity must be on an individual form.  Nominations may be by e-mail and/or regular mail.  All nominations must be sent and/or post marked no later than Sept. 8, 2010 by 5 p.m.  Judging will be done by an independent panel in Kansas City.

Please if you have any questions let me know crcexec@crcnet.org or 785-233-1365 or 785-969-4463.  Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you at the luncheon.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Nancy @ 10:45 am
