Fun 4 Less will be held March 3 from 7 – 8:45 p.m. at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library. Think you have to eliminate fun from your life just because you are on a budget? Think again. Topeka offers many free or low-cost activities that will entertain the whole family. We’ll open your eyes to a world of fun that won’t break the bank.
Tamara Scheid, Visit Topeka, will speak first and show customers how to get around their site.
Kathy Smith, Arts Connect, will talk about 1st Fridays and other plans for the arts of Topeka.
A representative of SevenEightFive magazine will talk to about how to discover the Topeka night life and Nancy Overmyer, Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library, will talk about the fun things to do at the library.
Toolkit 4 Life is a free monthly series that helps consumers make smart, informed decisions on managing bills, credit and money. The series is a collaboration of Community Resources Council, CoreFirst Bank & Trust, Housing & Credit Counseling, Inc., Kansas Gas Service, Westar Energy and Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. There is no charge for the workshop.
