Emergency Aid Council

Emergency Aid Council

To maintain better efficiency and time management the Emergency Aid Council has merged with the Homeless Task Force. Meetings will now be every second Wednesday of the month at 1:00pm.

Individuals and families will have access to resources to resolve economic emergencies and the support systems to prevent reoccurrence and sustain their quality of life. Emergency aid providers help clients address the underlying issues surrounding economic emergencies, such as finding more affordable, energy-efficient housing and pursuing opportunities for job skills and better jobs.  In addition, emergency aid providers use a shared client information system, which prevents duplication and fraud.  The system maximizes available community funds and provides timely, accurate data to track the emergency needs in our community. CRC provides business, financial, and technical support to the Emergency Aid Council by providing staffing, financial management, and long-term strategic planning.
