Water Assistance Program

This program helps current Water/Waste-Water customers of the City of Topeka and Shawnee County, KS with active service in their name.

Applicant must be a resident of the City of Topeka or Shawnee County, KS.

The water bill must be in the applicant’s name. NO LANDLORDS MAY APPLY

Applicant must provide the documents below:

-Social Security Card

-Kansas Driver’s License or KS I.D.

-Current Water Bill

-Proof of 2023 Household Income

COMPLETETION OF APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE APPROVAL.

IF APPROVED YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CREDITED

Include ALL household income for all household members regardless of age or relationship.

Source examples include employment, SSD, SSI, unemployment, worker compensation, child support, alimony, pension, VA Benefits, etc.

Each source requires official written verification.
