Low-Income Reduced Fair

     Reduced fares are available for persons over age 65, those with a disability, Medicare recipients, and those who meet income qualifications.

Lift Services 

     The Lift Service is a public transportation program which provides origin to destination bus service for persons with disabilities who are unable to use the wheelchair-accessible fixed-route bus system.

All High School Students Ride Free with valid ID

     ALL area High School students with a valid 2024-25 student ID can ride the Topeka Metro bus! When a student boards the bus, they need to show their student ID to the bus operator in order to ride free. Topeka Metro is pleased to help our community in making sure that students have a way to get to school, work or other important destinations.

     If your student doesn’t know where to board at a bus stop near you, please call Topeka Metro customer service  at 785-783-7000 and someone will assist you.

 

NOTE: High school students are required to pay to ride until they have a current student ID to show the bus operator when boarding.
