CRC Celebrates 90 years

Community Resources Council opens Avondale East NET Center for celebration

Community Resources Council (CRC) is celebrating 90 years in the Topeka and Shawnee County community.

You’re invited to help us celebrate May 13, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Avondale East NET Center, 455 SE Golf Park Blvd, Topeka KS, 66605

During this celebration CRC will be opening the Avondale East NET (Neighborhood Empowerment and Transformation) Center building, come enjoy food, drinks, and check out CRC’s largest current initiative- the Avondale East NET Center project.

To celebrate 90 years in the community CRC will be making a special announcement about a  GIFT to the community! In addition, there will be a visual Topeka timeline showcasing 90 years of our community’s history and CRC’s contributions along the way.

The Community Resources Council links with other collaborative groups to address specific needs in the community. This is accomplished through the development of community-wide initiatives that avoid duplication of services, maximize available resources, implement community plans designed to meet a specific outcome, and monitor progress. CRC’s mission is to connect the resources in our community through Collaboration, Advocacy, Research and Education.
