The 2020 Census is underway. The census helps our community in multiple ways, from allocating money to schools for head start programs to the amount for grants that agencies in our community use to help those in need. There is a lot that depends on the census to help our neighborhoods and livelihoods, which is why it is important to have everyone do their part in filling it out. Every house should receive a code in the mail that is specific to their address. To respond one can do it online, by phone, or by mail if they received the paper questionnaire.
If you would like to do it online but do not have the means to do so then CRC is here to help. At CRC CARE Center @ Avondale East, 455 SE Golf Park Blvd. Topeka, KS 66605, we have a station set up for those who would like to come in and fill out their census online. We are open Monday – Friday from 9am to 4pm. The process takes less than 10 minutes and helps our nation, state, county, and community!
*During this time CRC is taking every precaution to make sure that everyone who enters stays safe and healthy by wiping everything down, wearing gloves, and making sure there is plenty of room for people to stay the appropriate 6ft apart.
